COS (Chinese Orthodontic Society) is one of the world's preeminent orthodontics research and clinical care organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of malocclusion. Its objective is precisely what IOF continues to pursue. In order to implement mutual understanding, IOF was work as a key partner with COS to support its annual academic meeting held in Xi’an, China, on October 26th to 28th,2023. The COS annual meeting is a national event in China, attracting nearly 6,000 participants across a wide range of research, scientific, and clinical backgrounds, all focused on improving outcomes for patients.

Dr. Ravindra Nanda is part of the founding faculty of the School of Dental Medicine and has been associated with the University of Connecticut since 1972 where he also holds the title of professor emeritus in the Orthodontics Division.

 He is also an adjunct faculty at the ADA Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, USA. He is an innovator of various appliances in orthodontics. His research and clinical interests include adolescent and adult orthodontics, the biology of tooth mobility, craniofacial orthopedics, biomechanics and developing efficient mechanics to deliver orthodontic care.

Dr. Will A. Andrews completed dental education at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and orthodontic education at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF).
 He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, past-president of the Southern California Component of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, and Co-Director of the L.F. Andrews Foundation for Orthodontic Education.  He is a visiting lecturer at UCSF, an adjunct assistant professor at West Virginia University and an adjunct associate professor at the University of North Carolina.  He has published articles and lectured worldwide about the Six Elements Orthodontic Philosophy and co-authored the forthcoming textbook titled The Six Elements Orthodontic Philosophy©™. He has maintained a private practice limited to orthodontics in San Diego, California since 1992.

Dr. Hyo-Sang Park

Dr. Hyo-Sang Park is a professor and chair at Department of Orthodontics, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea.

He had done many pioneer works and extensive research on development of microimplants since 1998. He has used microimplants for 24 years and owned ten patents and wrote more than 100 international articles, six textbooks, and eight chapters dealing with Orthodontic Microimplants.

His articles were cited in the orthodontic journals over 9,500 times and he has spoken to world-renowned orthodontic meetings more than 80 times as a keynote speaker and provided 2 or 3 days of microimplants training course internationally more than 230 times. He is serving as a reviewer for AJODO, Angle Ortho, EJO, Progress in Orthodontics, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research, J of Orthodontics, KJO, and other journals. Dr. Hyo-Sang Park is doing researches concerning clinical use of microimplants, its biomechanics, and experiments to improve Microimplants treatment.
